Shanghai Yilan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2017 as a platform company by Shanghai Sunwise Energy Systems Co., Ltd. and strategic partners across the value chain: Linde, Yidong, Sima and Jianxin Capital.
Yilan specializes in the investment, construction and operation of hydrogen refueling stations. Its business model coordinates vehicle deployment with station development. Drawing on its shareholders' strengths across the value chain, the Shanghai-based company is working to build a hydrogen refueling corridor in the Yangtze River Delta. It has completed the hydrogen mother station in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, enabling it to supply hydrogen to satellite stations across a refueling network. In Shanghai, Yilan is advancing station projects in Jiading, Baoshan, Pudong, Qingpu and other districts.
Shanghai Chemical Industry Park integrated hydrogen refueling and charging station
The station represents an investment of more than RMB 50 million, occupies over 8,000 square metres and has a daily hydrogen refueling capacity of 1,920 kg. It was China's first hydrogen mother station capable of filling tube trailers and the country's first commercially operated integrated station covering a full range of services. It is also a milestone in the hydrogen refueling corridor around Shanghai. By-product hydrogen from the chemical park is purified, pressurized and delivered to the station through a pipeline. It is then compressed and stored for vehicle refueling and tube-trailer filling.
